One of the things I love about Tieks, besides that they are insanely comfortable (more on that here), is the community of women who purchase them. Tieks Girls are the friendliest, nicest ladies I've come across outside of my own group of friends.
Like many women, I started my Tieks journey online looking through pictures of other Tieks Girls and their shoes in order to figure out which color would be my first. If I was going to spend $175 on shoes, I wanted to pick the perfect pair and be sure I was making a good investment. I looked endlessly at pictures on Instagram searching #Tieks and read just about every blog written about Tieks that I came across!
What I didn't expect to find, was how helpful and friendly Tieks Girls were when I reached out to them with questions about Tieks. I couldn't believe how willing women were to talk to and help a complete stranger with shoe questions. It was as if I immediately became a member of this amazing tribe of Tieks Girls!
I finally decided on Tiek Blue and my addiction to these awesome shoes began. I joined a few Tieks Facebook fan groups, began posting my own Tieks pictures on social media and even started this blog.
I've found that Tieks brings people together in the most surprising ways and really are a conversation starter. I love how many people recognize these unique shoes by the signature blue sole and matching stripe on the heel. When wearing my Tieks, which is almost daily, I end up meeting and talking to the nicest, friendliest women. I frequently either run into a fellow Tieks Girl or get stopped by someone who notices my shoes and wants to know if Tieks really are that comfy!
Also, due to a mutual love of Tieks, or those who have just been curious about them, I have made some great online friends and insta-buddies. Thanks to fellow Tieks Girls, aka my Sole Sisters, I've learned about essential oils, found great places to eat, found fun things to do on vacation, discovered great blogs, found fashion inspiration and been introduced to other amazing products that I can be found supporting in my Tieks.
I'd like you to meet some of my favorite Tieks Girls and fellow Sole Sisters. Ashleigh became my essential oil mentor and her Instagram account chronicles life as a military wife and momma in such a hilarious, down to earth way. Ruth has a fun, family-lifestyle blog, Viva Veltoro, and we not only share an obsession for Tieks but also both love these gorgeous monogrammed purses from Grateful Bags as well. Catherine from The Dancing Pear is so sweet and creates unique, beautiful, up-cycled leather cuff bracelets, necklaces and other fun stuff that I love wearing. Jenn, from Shaw Avenue, is a blogger who has great style, loves LuLaRoe and has her own Tieks addiction. Krista makes the cutest cowl scarves and Rosie Posie, flower necklaces, of which I wear frequently. Emily is a fellow Houston girl who posts amazing outfits on her Instagram and has a fantastic plus-sized, fashion blog called Something Gold, Something Blue.
These are just a few of the many fun, amazing women that I consider a part of my Tieks Tribe. It's amazing how a pair of shoes can bring total strangers together. I know I'll be a Tieks Girl for life and can't wait to see who else I'll met along the way. I'd love to hear about your Tieks Tribe. Feel free to leave a comment and introduce me to any amazing Tieks Girls that you've met.
