Sitting at home after Winter Storm Riley, bomb cyclone with no power I was thankful that I had my Halo. I’m not talking about the heavenly kind either, lol. Halo is a portable charger unlike any other. Not only is it a super charger that has multiple ports to charge your electronic devices, but it is so powerful that it can actually jumpstart a car! Yes, you read that right, it can jump start you car, truck or SUV!

Halo has come in handy on more than one occasion. My son has actually used it to jumpstart his car when his battery died and we’ve used it several times to charge up my iPad and our iPhones when the power goes out. When the power has gone out for a day or two, we have all charged multiple devices, simultaneously, multiple times and the Halo didn’t run out of juice. This powerhouse charger really packs a punch.

What I really like about Halo versus other portable chargers, other than it can actually jumpstart a car, is that it keeps its battery life for long periods of time. I will fully charge up my Halo and I know several months later, it will still have a full charge. This is extremely useful because you can charge it up, throw it in your car and and rest easy it will still have juice in it when you need it. I don’t know what the official claim is on how long it’s suppsed to last, but I tend to test mine every few months to see where the battery indicator light is and every time it is still fully charged. I’ve even gone six months without using it and my Halo was still fully charged! Most other portable chargers I’ve encountered don’t keep a charge very long and constantly have to be plugged in to charge up. The quality and battery life of Halo is truly superior, in my opinion.

My only complaint is that I need more of them! Lol! We really only need one for the house, but I’ve been thinking that I might grab a couple more so that each family member can keep one in their car for emergencies. Right now, we let my son keep it in his car, but we really each should have one in case of roadside emergencies.

Halo makes a great gift idea too! My dad is so hard to buy for (like most dads are) and I gave him one for Father’s Day last year. He lives in Florida and his Halo came in handy during Hurricane Irma when my parents lost power. He had forgotten he had it until I reminded him. When he went to find it, he was worried it wouldn’t work because it had been almost 8 months or more since he had last charged it up. He was so impressed that when he found it that it still was mostly charged. He couldn’t believe it. I think it’s his new favorite gadget now!
